Sports massage is a great injury preventative too so you don't need to wait until you're hurt to enjoy the benefits! About the practicioner: Ben is fully insured and has a level 5 diploma in Sports and Remedial massage, along with a diploma in Sport and Exercise Science. He is a member of the Sports Therapy Organisation - a group dedicated to guarenteeing quality practicioners. Not all sports masseurs are considered good enough for this accolade but Ben is proud that his training and expertise made the grade. Ben knows first-hand the benefits of sports massage as he has been a world-class professional athlete since 2005. Specialising as a springboard diver he has been a finalist at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and has won bronze, silver and gold medals at the World Series Events 2007-09! The sports massages he receives during training have so far helped to keep him at the top of his game! He hopes to compete in the 2012 Olympics in London and we at Butterfly Studio wish him lots of luck in the qualifiers! | |
